Huawei P20 Pro launched in India at Rs 64,999: Everything you need to know

Huawei has launched the world's first smartphone with triple rear cameras in India. Called Huawei P20 Pro, the smartphone is priced at Rs 64,999. This makes Huawei P20 Pro the company's most-expensive smartphone to launch in India so far. Here is everything you need to know about the newly-launched smartphone.

Triple rear cameras

This is the biggest highlight of the device. The P20 Pro comes with three rear cameras powered by Leica lenses. These include a 20MP monochrome sensor, 40MP RGB sensor and an 8MP telephoto sensor. All three come with F/1.6, F/1.8 and F/2.4 aperture respectively. The device can even shoot slow motion videos at 960 frames per second. 

FullView display with ‘notch’

Huawei, with the P20 Pro, has joined the ‘notch’ bandwagon. The smartphone’s 6-inch full HD+ OLED screen has a notch at the top that includes the sensors and the front-facing camera.

Latest Android OS

Huawei P20 pro runs on the latest Android OS – Android 8.0 Oreo. The OS version is skinned by the company’s own EMUI 8.0.

24MP front-facing camera

Samsung Galaxy A6+ leaks in blue and gold renders

Just several hours ago, we saw some leaked renders of Samusng’s official cases for the Galaxy A6 and Galaxy A6+. Hours after our post went live, some new renders appeared without the case covering the phone. Rather than updating that post, we figured these renders deserved their own post.

Now that the case is off, we have a closer look at the final design of the Galaxy A6+. For starters, the phone will have a metal unibody design with a speckly matte finish and some interesting looking bumpers. These bumpers are accented with some translucent antenna-lines.

We already saw the phone’s Infinity Display and dual camera setup arranged like the Galaxy S9+. What we were unsure of in the previous post was the position of the loudspeaker, since it was not apparent on the bottom. These new renders confirm a strange placement of the loudspeaker port – just above the power key.

These renders also show us two removable trays on the left side, a large and small one. The larger one its likely to hold dual SIM cards while the smaller one, a micro SD card. We’re glad Samsung decided against a hybrid SIM tray.

These smartphone designs remind us a little of the Honor 7X’s metal unibody design but with Samsung’s distinct design elements. We really enjoy the bold blue color and the gold option is easy on the eyes, as well. What do you think of these color options?

Xiaomi Mi 6X (Mi A2) Listed on Android.com Ahead of April 25 Launch; Price Leaked?

Mi 6X or Mi A2, the upcoming mid-range handset by Xiaomi, is scheduled to launch at an event in China on April 25. While we still have a couple of days to go before launch, a couple more teasers won't hurt. Now, the Mi 6X has been spotted on Android.com with certain specifications mentioned in the listing. Interestingly, this spotting has been made in the Enterprise section of the Google-owned website. Additionally, Mi 6X/ Mi A2 price has seemingly been leaked online. 

In a listing on Android.com (live at press time), the Xiaomi Mi 6X has been confirmed to be the Chinese phone giant's next smartphone. As per the listing, the smartphone will sport a 6-inch display (possibly, full-HD+ with 1080x2160 pixels resolution), 4GB of RAM, 32GB/ 64GB inbuilt storage, Android 8.1.0 Oreo, and fingerprint sensor support.

 In a separate development, pricing of the Xiaomi Mi 6X may have been leaked by a user on Chinese social networking site Weibo. While the post has since been deleted or taken down, MySmartPrice has obtained a screenshot that mentions the Mi 6X/ Mi A2 price for the 4GB RAM/ 64GB inbuilt storage variant as CNY 1,799 (roughly Rs. 18,900) and that of 6GB RAM/ 64GB inbuilt storage model at CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs. 21,000).

To recap, recently, a retail box of the Xiaomi Mi 6X surfaced online in China. The box confirms the presence of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC - with AI capabilities - and the absence of a 3.5mm headphone jack on the phone that will most likely be rebranded as the Mi A2 in India.

The OnePlus 6 launch doesn’t seem to be too far away, as Amazon India has launched a registration page for the upcoming smartphone. The e-commerce titan also confirmed the OnePlus 6 will be exclusively available on its platform, and that it will be launched in India “soon.” OnePlus 6 will be the next flagship smartphone the Chinese brand launches, with details such as a Snapdragon 845 SoC, up to 8GB RAM, a 256GB storage option, and a notch above the display already confirmed by the company.

The Amazon India webpage for OnePlus 6 is now live and fans can sign up for updates regarding the smartphone via the ‘Notify Me’ button. “The new flagship offers more screen without compromising on size, providing an immersive viewing experience,” Amazon said in a statement on Saturday. However, there was no mention of the smartphone’s pricing, release date, and other details in the statement released by online retail company.

Noor Patel, Director - Category Management, Amazon India said, “OnePlus 6 is inarguably one of the most anticipated smartphones in India today. We are glad to remain the partner of choice for such an iconic brand for over 3 years now and bring our customers exclusive access to the new OnePlus 6. It is widely expected OnePlus 6 will launch in the next couple of weeks as the company has tied up with Marvel Studios and an Avengers: Infinity War Edition of the smartphone of is expected; the highly-anticipated movie releases on April 27 in India and several other countries.

OnePlus 6 price, specifications

Now coming to the price, OnePlus 6 64GB variant is said to cost CNY 3,299 (roughly Rs. 34,200), while its 128GB variant will be available with a price tag of CNY 3,799 (roughly Rs. 39,300) and the 256GB variant will hit stores at CNY 4,399 (roughly Rs. 45,600).

As for the features and specifications, OnePlus 6 is expected to feature Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box, 3450mAh battery, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac. The 3.5mm earphone jack will be retained, and the handset may be water-resistant too. Dual rear cameras as well as fingerprint sensor are expected to make their way to the handset as well. Going by a recent teaser, the handset will not feature the Alert Slider on the usual left side, and may be moved to the right edge; the Alert Slider may allow users to focus the camera while taking photos. A teaser video posted by the company promoted the OnePlus 6 with the tagline “the speed you need.”

स्टेप 1. सबसे पहले आप Google Play Developer website open करे.

स्टेप 2. Google Play Developer Console open करने के बाद आप Google Developer Distribution Agreement पढ़े और Check Box पर click करके Continue to payment पर click करे.

स्टेप 3. अब आप यहाँ सेCredit/Debit Card से  Google Developer Registration fee के रूप में 25 USD का Payment करे.

स्टेप 4. Payment complete होने के बाद Continue Registration पर click करे.

The Moto G6, Moto G6 Plus, and Moto G6 Play smartphones have finally become official after a host of leaks and rumours over the past few months. The new Moto G6 Plus sits at the top of the series with a marginally bigger display, faster processor, and more RAM than its two siblings. On the other hand, Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play have the same display size and RAM, but vary in terms of battery capacity, camera configuration, and the SoC. Alongside, the new Moto G series, Motorola has also launched the Moto E5 Plus and Moto E5 Play smartphones.

Moto G6, Moto G6 Plus, Moto G6 Play price, release date

The smartphones will become available to purchase in Brazil today, and next week in Mexico; various countries in Asia Pacific - including India - Europe, Latin America and North America markets will get the handsets in the next couple of months. The Moto G6 price (MSRP) has been set as $249 (roughly Rs. 16,500), while the Moto G6 Play will cost the buyers $199 (approximately Rs. 13,000). As for the Moto G6 Plus price, it has been set as EUR 299 (about Rs. 24,350). There is no word yet on the Moto G6 series’ price in India or release date yet, though given the Moto G series’ popularity in the country, e can expect that to change soon.

The Moto G6 Plus has a 5.93-inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio and full-HD+ (1080x2160 pixel) resolution. Based on stock Android 8.0 Oreo, the dual-SIM (Nano-SIM) phone runs on the 2.2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 630 processor, with Adreno 508 GPU and 4GB RAM. In optics, there is a dual rear camera setup with 12-megapixel primary sensor featuring 78-degree lens and f/1.7 aperture, and a secondary camera with 5-megapixel sensor having 79-degree lens and f/2.2 aperture In the front is an 8-megapixel camera with 80-degree lens and f/2.2 aperture. The phone has dual-tone, dual-lens LED flash on the back, and a selfie flash in front.

When it comes to storage, buyers will get 64GB of internal storage and microSD support up to 128GB. Connectivity suite of the smartphone includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C, NFC, 3.5mm audio jack, and the usual set of sensors. The Moto G6 Plus battery capacity is 3200mAh, with support for Motorola’s TurboPower adaptor (which is claimed to deliver 7 hours of use on a charge of 15 minutes). The handset is listed in Indigo and Gold colours, measures 159.9x75.5x7.99mm, and weighs 165 grams.

Moto G6 is the next handset in the new range, and features a 5.7-inch screen with full-HD+ resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by the 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 450 SoC with Adreno 506 GPU and 3GB RAM. Like its more powerful sibling, it runs stock Android 8.0 Oreo software and supports dual-SIM (Nano-SIM) functionality. As for the camera, there’s a familiar dual rear camera setup — 12-megapixel primary camera with 76-degree lens and f/1.8 aperture, and 5-megapixel secondary camera with 79-degree lens and f/2.2 aperture. You get a dual-tone, dual-lens flash on the back too, along with a single LED flash in front.

Moto G6 has a 5.7-inch full-HD+ display, Snapdragon 450 SoC, and 3000mAh battery

The all-new Moto G6 comes with 32GB of built-in storage, and support for storage expansion up to 128GB via microSD cards. For connectivity, the smartphone has 4G LTE, WI-Fi, USB Type-C, NFC, 3.5mm earphone jack, the  standard sensors, and Bluetooth 4.2. There’s a 3000mAh battery with TurboCharge support to keep things running. Available in Indigo and Silver colour options, the model measures 153.7x72.3x8.3mm.

Moto G6 Play has a 5.7-inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio too, but it gets a panel with HD+ (720x1440 pixel) resolution. Stock Android 8.0 Oreo, dual-SIM (Nano-SIM) have made their way here too, but the processor has been switched to 1.4GHz oct-core Snapdragon 430, with Adreno 505 GPU. Buyers also get 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, and microSD card support up to 128GB. A 13-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture and single LED flash is on the back, while a similar selfie flash and an 8-megapixel sensor with 80-degree lens and f/2.2 aperture is on the back.

The highlight of the Moto G6 Play is its large 4000mAh battery, again with TurboCharge support. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, USB Type-C, 3.5mm audio jack, and the usual sensors. Released in Indigo and Gold colours like its sibling Moto G6, the handset weighs 173 grams and measures 154.4x72.2x8.95mm.

The Moto G6 and Moto G6 Plus feature the fingerprint sensor in the front, below the display, while the Moto G6 Play has it embedded in the Moto logo on the back.
